INTERACTION DESIGN
Return to Sender was an experiment in the digital magazine medium. Most digital publications are simple translations of the print medium onto a digital screen. My aim was to break this mold and begin exploring the ways in which interaction can enrich the meaning of the magazine's content. I additionally chose to format my magazine as a continuous narrative, rather than the traditional format of sorting content by type (i.e. "features", "beauty").
The theme of this first issue is "Lost & Found". All the stories were collected anonymously from participants on Craigslist and Tumblr, and all other photographs, videos, and interactive pieces were produced (or collected from museum archives) by me.
